NC Republicans use “Extreme” Barack to hurt NC Dems.
By Plan B | April 23, 2008
In what is definitely a troubling development the NC GOP has released it’s brand new attack ad, featuring Barack Obama and Pastor Wright. What is most disturbing about this ad is that it is not an ad against Barack Obama and promoting Hillary Clinton. No it’s actually an ad where the local GOP is using Barack and the clip of his paster Jeremiah Wright reciting “God Damn Amerikkka” and labeling Barack as Extreme in their view and then stating that because Bev Perdue and Richard Moore endorse Barack Obama who they consider extreme these people should not win their election.
Now I don’t like this at all. I didn’t like when people forced John Lewis to change his endorsement or when they threaten people who endorsed Hillary Clinton with losing their position. I think people should be able to endorse whoever they want, without the threat of losing their position. But I guess if it is good for one side to do it, it is fair for the other. Maybe this will make some of us stop an think more.
John McCain has asked the NC GOP to pull the ad. They basically laughed in his face at the thought!
