The mess that is the Democratic Party

If you are a Democrat or a supporter of Hillary or Barack, then surely you are aware of a meeting by the DNC Rules & By Laws committee today to try and fix the mess that the DNC has done this year. It’s ongoing with no decision yet on Florida & Michigan. By the end of today we will have another chapter in the sage that is the Democratic Primary of 2008. So far Florida has been presented and they are currently in the reviewing the case of Michigan now. Regardless of the outcome today I see this going to the Democratic convention. Doesn’t bother me, we have learned so much about the flawed details of the Democrats this primary season. So why stop now?

Busy Busy Busy

Hi folks,
Sorry been a crazy month haven’t had time to deal with this blog the way I should have been. For those of you that do read this, I want to apologize for my absence. I had a couple of issues including a death in the family. However, I am going to try and get back on this Blog thing.
With that being said I am going to get back to business. I will be posting topics that I feel I want to blog about. My first task will be to writing a couple of political posts. For those of you that take politics and religion personally when the opinions of others are different than your own, this blog might not be the right place for you. I will have keep this Blog respectful.

The United States has 60 states?

I have been kinda of busy the past two weeks, So I guess I missed alot of news. I have alot of catching up to do. it seems that The United States of America has added some new states since I have been preoccupied. I always thought there were 50 states. But Senator Barack Obama told his supporters in Oregon that he has already been to 57! He also said that he has 1 to go and he is sorry that he couldn’t go to two others Alaska and Hawaii. **SHOCK**
He is a United States Senator after all. maybe he has some kind of high level security clearance that let’s him visit these new states? I wonder how many electoral votes these previously unknown to me states carry? I bet the silly Elementary schools are still teaching our kids that there are 50 states. This is why we need to put more money into education, our kids are learning from outdated textbooks. They are going around thinking that the United States of America only has 50 states. Damn so much to do, I need to get me some new flags too cause my 50 state flags are no good anymore. They already have some new 57 state flag lapel pins.
Someone please send me some links on how the residents of Hawaii took the news that they no longer held the distinction of being the last state to join the union. That is Barack’s Birthplace after all. Miss a day miss a lot.
I am glad they have the video of this, I sure would not have believed it without the video. you sure couldn’t tell an Obama supporter that he said he has been to 57 states either.
Oh well, looks like this will be an interesting November if he does get the nomination.

The Goverment Lies! by Jeremiah Wright

The above video is an extended video of the Good Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Barack Obama’s spiritual advisor. Oops is that former adviser now? Not sure, Barack had another press conference where everyone one said he was mad and he denounced the comments that Wright basically repeated from the videos that were first shown on Youtube. But Now Obama is trying to distance himself from this man. Like Rev Wright or not, At least he sticks by what he says. He is very easy to understand, because he doesn’t go back and forth on the issues he preaches about. For years Barack was praising him as his spiritual adviser, good freind etc. But now Barack is saying he wasn’t his spiritual adviser and not that close to the good Rev. I wonder how the Rev feels being thrown under the bus? Unless he and the Rev got this worked out so he can get elected?
Basically as far as the Reverend is concerned, the Government Lies! Ask him next week he will still tell you, The Government Lies!

MIMI & Nick Cannon marriage confirmed!!!!

Sorry folks, I haven’t posted anything in a couple of days. Whoa I apologize. I have had some things to take care of. But the blogging is back.
First up! talk about from out of nowhere. What was suspected on the Plan B forum by “2Gun” that Mariah Carey (38) and Nick Cannon (27) were engaged. It has been confirmed now that they are MARRIED!!! Who saw that one coming? Wow! I guess Nick likes Older women huh? Mariah is not a bad looking woman at all. However I am still shocked.
But the article goes on to tell us that the two married after dating for about a month without a Prenuptial agreement because “there wasn’t time” WTF??? What do they mean there wasn’t time??what the hell was the rush. Mimi and Nick can afford to wake up a lawyer at anytime to draft one up. I wonder if Nick knocked her up like Jay did to Beyonce?
Oh my I hope all turns out well for the happy couple but the gut check says it won’t

Obama on Fox tomorrow…

Yup after almost 2 years Barack Obama is going to finally appear on FOX News Sunday & end the Obamawatch clock over on FOX. If you are up tomorrow check it out. Should be interesting since FOX has a rep of being the biased news channel from the Bush era. Although, during the Democratic Primary they have been giving equal critique of the democrats they have been fair. I am sure it will change once the General election starts. But we will see. Chris Wallace has been reporting that Senator Obama promised to come on the show, but hasn’t shown up yet so they started a 24 style clock. Seems like it worked or maybe it was Obama’s recent losses that worked. Because Obama is appearing tomorrow. Form the brief snippet shown in the promos the main thing of note is that Obama said he isn’t doing anymore debates before the next round of voting.

I am sure we were all taken by surprise when we heard that Gary Coleman had gotten married in a whirlwind romance. Well I am sure we are all “Stunned” to know that the marriage has ended in almost the same fashion in which it began.
The honeymoon is over for Gary Coleman and his new bride.
The 40-year-old actor and his 22-year-old wife, Shannon Price, are set to appear on TV’s “Divorce Court” on May 1 and 2. The couple wed in August after meeting on the set of the 2006 comedy “Church Ball.”
I am so there!
“If he doesn’t get his way, he throws a temper tantrum like a five-year-old does,” Price says, according to a transcript of the show provided to The Associated Press. “He like stomps the floor and yells, ‘Meehhhh,’ and starts throwing stuff around. He bashes his head in the wall, too.”
BWAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH!!!!! 
I like Gary Coleman I have many fond memories of laughter from Watching Different Strokes. But damn, I guess he lived the fun part of his life early because his adult life has been kind of crappy. First working in the mall as a security guard, the ebay selling of his merchandise, so much to mention. But hey everybody deserves to find love. Poor Gary at 40 years old is getting his butt kicked.

Obama’s Pastor Jeremiah Wright makes his TV rounds.

Obama’s Pastor who has been out of the public light pretty much since his videos become all the rage on Youtube, current view total on Youtube is almost 800,000 and looks like it will hit 1 million views by the end of next month. Not to mention the countless times it was run on TV. Has been out of sight on a low profile, chilling in the cut. Well it looks like a fresh rotation of “God Damn Amerikkka” videos is about to begin. For whatever reason Rev Jeremiah Wright is going to be giving an interview tonight on “Bill Moyers’ Journal” on PBS.
Now you mmight think you hear the shouts of joy from Clinton supporters. While I am sure that some of that is there, the more gleeful cheers and snickers are coming from the Republicans. Who after all already started using Obama as a symbol of who not to vote for in their NC primary race as Plan B told you earlier this week. Jeremiah Wright is Obama’s spiritual adviser and an Obama supporter, couldn’t he have just chilled out a little longer? Wait until Barack Won ? The more he goes out and about, the more he will be talked about it’s INEVITABLE!
I think that he should have spoken up to clarify his thoughts from the start. Obama should have also tackled it more aggressively from the start with Wright. Then it would have been over with. But the avoidance the first two days, Then the Obama blog on Huffpo, then the limited video explanations on the news channels, then the speech days later, all with slightly different explanations, the annoyance by Obama by the Wright questions being asked at the debate and now The pastor starting his circuit run????? But now he is restarting everything. No way this is “old news”! The story has legs and it appears that the good Rev is going to run with it.
In case you miss Rev Wright tonight and don’t have access to youtube 
He will also be speaking at the NAACP dinner in Detroit on Sunday. Which actually might not be a bad place for Wright to attend since he can’t cost Obama any Michigan votes. The DNC said that Michigan and Florida don’t count and they won’t be getting a recount. Wright will also be speaking Monday at the National Press Club as part of a divinity conference of black church leaders.

Wesley gets sent to jail for 3 years!!!

Ouch! Actor Wesley Snipes Star of the Blade movies and many other popular films was sentenced to 3 years in the pokey yesterday! Is it me just me that thinks the IRS is the one arm of the government that seems to be able to consistently do their job regardless of race, class or color? I mean damn I don’t make any money and I pay my taxes. But I don’t agree with this at all. They couldn’t work out any type of agreement for him to pay? Is it that much better for society to have this dude in Jail? The IRS killed Red Foxx with their tax enforcement I hope they don’t do it to Wesley too. I really hope he bounces back from this.
Next time someone owes money like that I bet they stay in Africa instead of coming back to do the “noble” thing like Wesley did.
